Our Roots

Formerly Red Catalina, Frida King’s Concept, started its journey back in December 2019. Based in Miami, FL, a couple of entrepreneurs noted the interest from friends and acquaintances regarding Mexican culture and its unique artistic expressions, which eventually led to focus our efforts on spreading the word about the variety of forms we Mexicans manifest our identity and traditions. Through Frida King Boutique with Artisan Spirit, we found a way to bring high quality craftmanship close to those appreciative for unique artisanal products; our voice is a vehicle for the talented artisans, artists, entrepreneurs, families and communities that express through their artistry and keep our Mexican cultural heritage alive today.

Frida King’s growing Collection displays our favorite cultural findings that we have come across along this journey, among with others that evoke Frida’s childhood, family and culture while growing in Mexico City.
